　　Yixing Zisha, dating from Northem Song Dynasty and highly developcd in Ming and Qing periods, is the exeellent traditional art of the Chinese nation. It is rare in clay, looks tasteful in color and can be shaped flexibly with exquisite workmanship.

　　The Jianyun Pot-art Ceramic Factory is mainly engagimg in the production of all sizes of pots, such as high and medium grade Zisha flowerpots, miniature landscape pots, narcissusi pots, cymbidium pots,etc.,ranging as many as 500 sorts. The factory has become the biggest base for flowerpots production in Yixing area and its products have been selling well not only all over the country but also on foreign markets, such as in Japan, the USA, Korea, Italy, Singapore as well as in Hong Kong and Taiwan areas. 
 In May, 1998, the factory developed successfully a pair of pots that were shaped with linear oblong frame and folded angles. Examined by China Yixing Ceramics Museum, the pots are the biggest in the history of Zisha production in Yixing area and has become up to now the unique “king of flowerpots”, which was reported by “China Flowers and Plants” ，“Flowers and Trees” , “Xian Evening” , “Wuxi Daily” and so on. They find favor with the people in gardening line and the broad masses of customers.
